Alexandra is a Flood Risk Consultant at WMS Engineering, bringing a strong analytical foundation in environmental modelling and geospatial science. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics and Quantitative Environmental Modelling from the Australian National University.
Alexandra combines advanced mathematical and data analysis skills with practical experience in geospatial processing. Prior to joining WMS, she worked as a Geospatial Processing Specialist, where she developed expertise in satellite imagery analysis, digital elevation model generation, and the delivery of high-quality spatial data for environmental and infrastructure applications.
Since joining WMS, Alexandra has applied her technical capabilities to flood modelling and risk assessment. She supports hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, flood mapping, and spatial analysis using tools such as QGIS and TUFLOW. Her work contributes to understanding flood behaviour, assessing development impacts, and informing effective mitigation strategies across a range of projects.
