Ga Jung joined WMS in May 2023 as a Senior Engineer and has been working primarily on Flood Impact Assessments. Since joining WMS, Ga Jung has been rapidly developing his hydrologic and hydraulic modelling skills and has contributed to numerous flood investigations such as flood studies, flood impact assessments, and flood mitigation studies. He previously worked for four years at NSW Public Works as a Water Planning Engineer analysing and designing solutions for water supply and wastewater schemes in Regional New South Wales and developed Strategic Planning documents for several Regional Councils.
Ga Jung’s experience in water planning has allowed him to gain a broad perspective of the entire engineered water cycle system and develop a deeper understanding of the numerous technical processes involved in the management of water resources, as well as the different perspectives and needs of various stakeholders.
