Ryan is a Principal Engineer with over 15 years of experience in water engineering across local government and private consulting . He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), bringing recognised technical leadership to complex flood and infrastructure projects.
Ryan has extensive expertise in hydrologic and hydrodynamic modelling, stormwater and flood emergency management planning, and hydraulic impact assessment. He has led regional flood studies in accordance with updated AR&R guidelines and delivered major infrastructure projects including transport corridors, bridges, dams and marina developments. His experience spans the full project lifecycle, from planning and detailed design through to expert witness services, community consultation and disaster response.
Recognised for his flood emergency advice during major cyclone events, Ryan also applies programming skills in Python and C# to automate modelling processes and develop innovative flood forecasting solutions.
